Hiya Folks!
So today was Sunday Set Up Day, but before we could start tearing down the church we needed to attend and Lift up our Lord and Savior. Unfortunately when we got to church we were greeted with the news that Tom Wharin (the preacher) was very ill, so we had a lovely day of Worship music and prayer for this week and Tom. If you all at home could be praying as well for him, he is a big part of Holiday Club and we're missing his energy.
Once church time was over we quickly got to work with stacking up chairs to clear out the sanctuary for the awesome week we have planned. This year our theme is Sports, but specifically Team Building. We're working together for the good of God, and that's the message of the week! Of course before the morning/afternoon was done we had tea and coffee break then got down to the hard work of transforming everything so we can help transform the lives of the sweet kids we've been blessed to serve and meet this week.

We got to enjoy some Bacon Butties (roll, butter and bacon) and visit with old and new friends at Wotton Baptist Church. It was so much fun to start out a week all about Team Building by coming together as a Mega Team to rock out set decoration and surrounding Holiday Club in prayers.
After set up we went to our houses to relax until dinner, where we took an adventure to a neighboring town to have a BBQ/potluck with a lot of the leaders from Holiday Club to visit some more and play some cricket in the field with the kids. Eowyn wanted to try but I figure we should probably wait a little bit longer, lol.
We were surprised by a double rainbow as we left the BBQ!

We can't say enough how welcomed we all feel here in this lovely town and blessed to just have met so many wonderful people/servants of God and to be a part of God's plan for this week of Holiday Club.
