Today is always my favorite tourist day!! We go to Bath, which of course is where the Jane Austen Museum is, plus other things but mainly it's where we can walk in the steps of my favorite author.
First stop is the car park, it's such a busy town that its easier to park your car and then ride the bus over than to try and fight the traffic and find a parking place for two cars. Once in Bath we walked down to the town centre where the Abbey and the Roman Baths are at. Blake, Jane, and Bill being new to the country had to go through the Baths and I decided to join for a refresher course, while Annette and Lesley did some shopping. If ever in the country I very much suggest checking out the Baths, very cool piece of history there.
Then lunch on the grass, before we walked up to the Circus and the Crescent, with a stop off at the Jane Austen Centre to find some new Jane Austen items I just couldn't live without plus expose Blake to amazing Regency. It was a long day and we for sure felt on the bus ride home.
Dinner was at Richard's house, It was a chicken pesto pasta and pudding was rhubarb caramel crumble both were beyond delicious. Plus a night with Richard and Jane is quite the side splitter!
Last day in England tomorrow :(
