Tuesday
The morning started beautifully again, I got down to the church at about 9:30 we set up our stations than had a group prayer to have a wonderful morning with the kids and hope that they are having fun, being safe, and learning about Moses, and God's love for His people.
Today they learned about Moses being a Shepherd and meeting God on Mt Sinai and the burning bush. We played a quiz show game with our group to reiterate the message of the day. We played some awesome parachute games as well, I took videos of that so you can see the fun once I get back to the states.
Captain Ketchup was on Security Alert Banana Yellow, I threw out some ketchup tshirts, read the security report, some of the kids wrote me some brilliant jokes so I read those to everyone, and of course I did the famous Carlton Dance (from fresh prince of bel air) they just love it, and made sure I did it. It really touches me that they do remember me and are very happy to see me even if its just because I do a silly dance, they still are coming back to learn about Jesus and play with me.
The drama today was about communication and getting the right messages. Since I play Agent Z, the mole, I intercepted the messages and took out pieces so they would go wrong but after some confusion they still succeeded, its not easy being the bad guy when the good guys have the Big Guy on their side. The kids love and have really caught on that I'm the bad guy in it so they definitely "boo" me off the stage which is awesome.
After we were done for the day, the American crew got together to reflect on our day and how we saw God in it. Then Liz and I went to go practice Wednesday's drama its gonna be a lot of fun, we'll rolling thru the kids and hiding behind them and more fun crazy things. Then we headed up to Lesley's which is all up hill from there, we had to take a break to sit and have a little chat then trudged the rest of the way up. Split the 7 of us into 3 different cars then we went to Lacock Abbey, where many films have graced the halls, to name few HARRY POTTER, and others lol. Liz kissed the wall she was so happy to be there. We also went to Castle Combe, not a castle but a village, where other films such as Wolf Man were shot and its never really lost its classic English feel so it was just lovely.
We got back with enough time to stop at home have a quick chat with Chris and Lucy, then Jeeves (Chris) my man servant, :) drove me down to Marian Burrows, even though its a 2 min walk, lol. He only did that because he was passing that way to go to town and refused for me to walk. We had a beautiful 3 course meal, nibblers in the garden, Dinner ;roast beef, roast potatoes, cauliflower with cheese, carrots, roasted parsnips, roast onions, Yorkshire pudding (its a bread roll), and broccoli, all came from her garden. Pudding; we had blackberry apple date crumble, custard, ice cream, yogurt, and some fruit. Needless to say the walk home was very nice to make me feel like I had some exercise.
Bless you
