After staying up till about 11:30 pm talking to Chris & Lucy I finally made my way to bed, a gorgeous queen sized bed mind you, set my alarm for about 10:45 so I could have breakfast or have a chat with Chris, I actually emerged from my room for the first time at about half past 1 in the afternoon, (the only one of our group to sleep that late). I grabbed a quick lettuce and butter sandwich, I know it sounds odd but knock it till you try it, talked with Chris about what I could do today and we decided to walk to the Co-Op to do some grocery shopping.
Chris and Lucy, live 5 mins from the church and 7 mins from the co-op (the local grocery store), depending on how fast you're walking. He wanted me to go with so I could pick out things I like and so I would carry some of the load :) I saddened Chris by not likely to eat eggs but after some teasing we've moved on from that. We got back home in time for me to pop over to Marian's, which is where Suzy is staying, to go on a walk about around town to see some local sights that we hadn't seen before, like St Mary's church of England, and a few of the alms houses.
Once that was over I walked back to the house to catch a game of Rugby, which had to be explained to me while I explained Football to him. Lucy came back from her walk and we had Tea & biscuits (cookies) and talked for a bit before I went with Suzy and Annette to Richard Davis' house (a man from the church) to eat dinner. We met his daughter Jess, son Greg, neighbor Sonia, and their new cat whose name I can't recall. We had Cottage Pie for dinner (delicious), Pudding of the night was Car Battery Pie, wonderful lovely conversations. They were quite amazed by my knowledge of films I told them I can't help it, its a sickness all this random pop culture trivia is just stuck in my head. Richard brought us home about 9:30.
When I got home I watched Horrible Histories on CBBC with Lucy, we don't have that channel in America but I suggest if you need a laugh plus some history lessons do look it up online.
Thanks again so much for reading I'll be more prompt with the rest of these I promise.
Blessings
